ANALYSIS: Colorado's WR group is impressive

After landing an impressive wide receiver group in the class of 2017, co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Darrin Chiaverini is reeling in an impressive group in the 2018 class as well.

Santa Fe Springs (Calif.) wide receiver Dylan Thomas committed to the Colorado Buffaloes on Sunday. CUSportsNation.com breaks down what Thomas' commitment means for the Buffaloes.

THE COMMITMENT

Thomas' recruitment has been pretty low key throughout his recruiting process. Most prospects these days post all of their offers on social media and take in the spotlight. That has never been Thomas.

Thomas did narrow down his recruitment to seven schools with Colorado, Cal, Purdue, Boise State, Nevada, Washington State, and Oregon State making the cut. That was a rare public announcement from Thomas.

His next announcement was his commitment. Thomas committed to the Buffaloes the day after his visit in Boulder for the BBQ.

Next up for Thomas? He's slotted to take a visit to Washington State this weekend, per Greg Biggins. He already had this visit planned, so he decided to keep that travel itinerary in tact.
