Isaiah Rogers, a 2021 defensive tackle from Sharon Hill, PA, put out a Top 5 today and the Buffs are in it.

Rogers is an interesting guy — he was one of the first defensive linemen Chris Wilson offered after being hired at Colorado and being from Pennsylvania, a state the Buffs don't recruit often, makes me wonder how much of an eye Wilson kept on the recruiting scene there whilst with the Eagles.

Wilson seems to have gotten something of a pulse for local high schools during his time in Philadelphia, given his offer to Rogers.

Rogers' high school, Academy Park, is about seven miles east of Lincoln Financial Field where the Eagles play. Colorado's recruiting department has been studying Rogers' file for some time now.

“We’ve been talking for about three months now," he told CUSportsNation shortly after being offered. "It started with (recruiting assistant) Andy Wang. He’s been checking up on me and seeing how I’m doing. Then I talked to coach Wilson over the phone. He said he really loved my film and from what he saw, that I was a great player."

The Buffs have joined Old Dominion, James Madison, Buffalo and Florida International within his Top 5.

Frame-wise, Rogers is 6-foot-3 and 285 pounds. Since he was offered in April, the Buffs have stayed on him, sending a good amount of custom graphics his way. Colorado currently has a lone defensive lineman, Allan Baugh, committed to its Class of 2021.
