Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School offensive tackle Walker Culver made a very early pledge to the University of Colorado. The 6-foot-5, 270-pounder committed to the Buffs last November while he was in Boulder for an unofficial visit.

"When I took the visit, I had a Thanksgiving break from school, so I watched their game and after the game, I committed," Culver said.

"The overall experience was definitely something that I'd like to be a part of. I really fit in there. From the football program itself to the academics was something I want to be a part of."
