Who's gone?

Dante Sparaco, OLB

Trent Headley, ILB

Bryan Meek, LB

Derek McCartney, OLB

Sam Bennion, OLB

Just last week, Sparaco, a rising sophomore, announced that he would be transferring from Colorado and is already at Montana State. His departure was disappointing as he had a strong freshman season, and we had high hopes for him this season even in a reserve role... McCartney played in 38 career games with 36 starts, finishing tied for 16th all-time at Colorado with 14.5 career quarterback sacks, per cubuffs.com. His outstanding leadership will be missed... Headley and Meek were both walk ons who exhausted their eligibility in 2017... Bennion opted not to play football anymore to pursue medical school.
