Who's Gone?
Afolabi Laguda, Safety
Ryan Moeller, Safety/Buff
Isaiah Oliver, Cornerback
Andrew Bergner, Defensive Back
The Buffs lose three starters from last season, including Moeller, who mainly played the hybrid defensive back/outside linebacker role before going down with a season ending injury late in the year... Oliver declared early for the NFL draft rather than coming back for his senior season, which was expected. He will be selected in the first two rounds in the draft... Laguda was very serviceable for the Buffs in his couple of years in Boulder after transferring from a junior college. He started every game at free safety for the Buffaloes in 2017.
