Colorado Football Signee: Lavon Wallace

Colorado was all along Wallace's favorite school, and after he visited in July, it didn't take him very long to make a commitment to the Buffaloes. On Wednesday, Wallace signed with Colorado. Wallace is a big cornerback at 6-foot-3, 185-pounds, which truly is impressive size. Wallace was a very firm commitment to Colorado throughout the recruiting process. He also held offers from Fresno State, Oregon State, Nevada, Utah State, and others.

Quotable: "I picked the Buffs because that was the best school for me," Wallace said after committing to CU. "I felt comfortable there. The coaches showed me love. My mom wanted me to go there too because she felt comfortable about what was going on over there. Plus, I know they have good facilities and good coaches. They had [defensive backs] recently get drafted. I know I'll get coached up good if I go there."
