Colorado has had a very busy week of prospects visiting and that included Houston (Texas) Second Baptist all-purpose running back Deion Smith checking out Boulder.

Smith flew in on Tuesday afternoon and was on campus for a few hours. After seeing campus, he did sight seeing in Boulder, and on Wednesday, he finished up his time on CU's campus.

"It was actually really fun," Smith said. "When we first got there, we took a tour of the whole campus and met all of the coaches. I talked to coach Mac and everybody, to be honest.

"The next day, when I came back, we went to the locker room and met with the academics lady. Coming in, I didn't really know what to expect, but I loved it actually."

Smith made the trip with his mother, and Smith reports that she also enjoyed Boulder.

"She liked it. She like the whole thing," Smith said. "It caught her attention when she found out that they have an hospital on campus. That wowed here."
