Quartz Hill (Calif.) athlete Matthew Tago was offered by Colorado last summer, and he's kept a close relationship with the CU coaching staff. When Mike MacIntyre was at San Jose State, MacIntyre recruited Tago's older brother. So, the Tago family and MacIntyre go way back.

Last Saturday, Tago participated in the University of Redlands camp that the Colorado staff was represented at.

"It was good. I mainly worked out with coach Els from Colorado and with the tight ends coach from Colorado too, but when we did one-on-ones, I was doing linebacker the whole time," Tago said.

The Buffs are recruiting Tago at inside linebacker, but he could play tight end at the next level.
