Stanley recaps recent visits, has commitment timetable
Greenwood Village (Colo.) Cherry Creek wide receiver Dimitri Stanley has had a productive spring and summer that resulted in offers from Kansas State, Utah, Cal, Arizona State, Indiana, and Nebraska.
He's also taken a few visits to schools such as Nebraska, Iowa State, Colorado and his most recent visit was to Arizona State on Saturday.
"It was good. I finally got to see the area a little bit," Stanley said. "I haven't been to Phoenix since 8th grade. It was good to be out there. The coaches were really cool, really nice and took me through a tour of the new facilities that are still under construction. I got to sit down with the head coach. I had good conversations with the coaches and players."
Arizona State isn't the only school that Stanley has visited in the past few days. He stopped by Colorado on Thursday with some of his high school teammates. They participated in CU's prospect camp while Stanley checked out campus.
"The visit was good; it was really good," said Stanley. "I've been to CU a few times, and every time I've been there, it's been more about the football aspect. I wanted to get around the campus and talk to a few teachers. I got to tour dorms and all of that kind of stuff.
