Boulder, Colorado - Just two weeks after Colorado announced the hire of new Defensive Coordinator D.J. Eliot, the Buffs have hired their new Defensive Backs Coach for the 2017 season.
ShaDon Brown most recently the Cornerbacks coach at Army will join Colorado according to multiple sources. Brown spent one season at Army and the previous five seasons at Wofford College.
During the summer of 2015, Brown served as a NFL Defensive Back intern for the National Football League for the Carolina Panthers.
Brown was also a high school head coach at Rowan County in Kentucky (2008-2010) where his team won the Class 4A state championship for the first time since the early 80's.
Colorado has been seeking a Defensive Backs Coach since the departure or Charles Clark, who followed former Defensive Coordinator Jim Leavitt to Oregon.
