Q&A with Colorado grad transfer RB Travon McMillian

What was your favorite part about the city of Boulder?

It was my first time being in boulder. The campus was beautiful and I loved the vibe.

What coach initially started talking to you from Colorado, and what's your relationship like with him?

Coach Hagan told me that Lindsay was leaving. He loves the experience I have. He loves that I'm a three-down back. I know I'll be able to make a big impact right away.

What did the coaches say when you committed?

They were really excited and they wanted me to be sure of my commitment.

What makes you most excited about playing for Colorado?

I'm really excited to play with this team and with this group of guys. I really like the coaches, and I'm excited about the opportunity to play in the Pac-12.

What does your family think about you being a Buff?

My family and I are sure of this decision. My parents have a good relationship with the coaches as well.

What is your favorite food?

Japanese food

Who is your favorite music artist?

My favorite music artist right now is Lil Uzi. I wouldn't say he's my all time favorite but he's who I listen to right now.

Who is a role model of yours?

A role model of mine would be Dave Gittings; he was our chapelin at Virginia Tech. I just loved the way he went about his day to day operation.

What team in the Pac-12 are you most excited about playing?

Quite honestly, I'm really excited about every game. I'm gonna cherish every game I play, and we have to take one game at a time.

Who is your favorite athlete?

Walter Payton, I loved his tenacity. He had a lot of heart as a player.
