JuCo CB Delrick Abrams planning Colorado visit
Independence Community College (Kan.) cornerback Delrick Abrams has received offers from UCLA, Colorado, Southern Miss, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, and Mississippi State, in that order.
The UCLA offer came on on April 18, so his offers have come at a rapid face. Abrams didn't have any division one offers out of high school.
"I'm looking at all of these schools and what they have to provide education-wise," Abrams said. "In high school, I didn't get recruited. I didn't have offers. It's a blessing to have these offers. I didn't know they would come like this; it's been fast."
The Buffs were the second school to offer, and he received the offer from CU's defensive coordinator DJ Eliot, who has been on the recruiting trail hard since he took over earlier this year.
"Coach Eliot and I were talking and he liked my film," Abrams said. "He likes how I play, and he offered me. I was blessed that they offered me."
