Fillip updates Colorado commitment

Houston (Texas) Clear Lake offensive tackle Frank Fillip committed to the Colorado Buffaloes in June.

His recruitment was refreshing. He never posted about top schools. He only used social media out of necessity to connect with college coaches. He was leaning towards staying in-state at either Rice or Baylor, but after visiting Colorado, he knew that Boulder was the place for him to be. Fillip didn't let his recruitment drag out as he wanted to get things over with so he could focus on his senior season.

And now that Fillip is committed, he can do just that - get better with his teammates.

"It's going really nice," Fillip said of his CU commitment. "It's a weight off your shoulders, especially now that I'm playing football again. It's something that I don't have to think about anymore."
