Evan Battey set to announce, Colorado among favorites

BASKETBALL NEWS: Following a 22-12 record during the 2015-2016 season under Head Coach Tad Boyle and earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament, the Buffs Men’s Basketball Team have a ton of momentum entering this coming season. The excitement and promise shown by Colorado has transitioned well with big time recruits.

In early September the Buffs landed Tyler Bey and D’Shawn Schwartz. Bey a 6-foot-7 Rivals.com 4-Star Power Forward out of Los Angeles, California, Schwartz a 6-foot-6 Rivals.com 4-Star Shooting Guard out of Colorado, Springs.

Today, 6-foot-7, 275 pound Evan Battey out Villa Park, California plans to make his commitment, Colorado we hear is a front runner.

Battey visited Colorado early in September the same time as Bey and Schwartz and though he has visited Purdue and Miami recently, Rivals.com’s Basketball Analyst Eric Bossi feels Colorado has a great shot to land another big-time hoops target today.
