Good news for the Buffaloes, they are in his top five. “I’ve narrowed it down to Mississippi State, LSU, Ole Miss, Colorado and Nebraska,” Reynaud explained. “Right now they’re all pretty much even to me.” He has been offered by all five of the schools he will visit, along with Oregon State.
Reynaud is as versatile as they come, he can play wide receiver, running back or cornerback. But according to the Hahnville high school standout, most colleges are interested in him as a wide receiver.
What are his impressions of Colorado? “I like the way they throw the ball, and I just really like their program as a whole,” Reynaud stated. “I like their coaching staff and they said they would like me to come there and visit, so I’m looking forward to that.” The Buffaloes were one of the first two schools to offer him a scholarship, and went to visit him at his school last spring.
The dates are not set on Reynaud’s visits yet. “I might do like two during the football season and do the rest after the season,” he said. “I just want a school with a good student body. Location is not a factor, I’m trying to leave and experience something new.”
At 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, Reynaud is a constant deep threat out on the field. He is extremely quick and runs a 4.37-forty. As a junior, Reynaud had 17 receptions for 494 yards and 16 touchdowns.
“I would compare my style to Santana Moss (New York Jets),” he added. “This year [as a senior], I want to work on my technique and work on setting some records here.” Reynaud is ranked by Rivals.com as the 36th best wide receiver prospect in his class.
In the classroom, he currently holds a 2.5 grade point average and he scored 24 on his ACT.
