NOTES

* In previous depth charts that CU released this year, Michael Adkins and Beau Bisharat were listed as an OR. In this depth chart, Adkins has surpassed Bisharat as the No. 2 running back.

* True freshmen wide receivers K.D. Nixon and Laviska Shenault cracked the depth chart. Nixon plans to receive a good amount of playing time.

* In previous depth charts, the WR-Y position was not listed. Jay MacIntyre and Lee Walker are listed at Y.

* The offensive line depth chart is pretty expected. True freshman William Sherman cracked the two-deep at right guard.

* Jared Poplawski figures to see the field as a true freshman as a true pass catching tight end.

NOTES

* The most staggering move here is Timothy Coleman's fall down the depth chart. In the pre-fall pencil depth chart, Coleman was listed as the starting right defensive end. Now, he's a third string outside linebacker behind a true freshman in Jacob Callier. Terran Hasselbach is in the starting role at that OLB spot.

* The linebacking corps is bright with Nate Landman and Jonathan Van Diest standing out. They could receive playing time this year.

* No surprise that Javier Edwards is the starting nose tackle. Behind him, Jase Franke could receive playing time at either nose tackle or defensive end.

* With Anthony Julmisse out, Trey Udoffia slides into a starting role.

* Chris Mulumba has been a standout for the Buffs this spring and grabbed a starting spot.
