Colorado moves up big time WR Porter's list
Colorado offered Etiwanda (Calif.) wide receiver Geordon Porter a scholarship just one month ago, and schools like UCLA and Georgia offering before the Buffs did.
However, the Buffs have quickly moved up to the top of Porter's list. Colorado co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Darrin Chiaverini is recruiting the 6-foot-2, 175-pound prospect hard.
Porter stopped by the University of Redlands in southern California earlier this month to hang out with the CU coaching staff. And on Tuesday, Porter decided to make the trip to Boulder to check out campus.
"The area is really nice with the Rocky Mountains and the structure of the campus is beautiful along with the facilities, and it actually overcame my expectations," Porter said about Colorado.
Porter got more time to spend with the Colorado coaching staff.
