Colorado has landed 20 commitments thus far and Tuesday Night after DeSoto, Texas Receiver K.D. Nixon committed to Colorado, the Buffs' 2017 recruiting class is ranked 19th in the entire Nation by Rivals.com. Colorado has landed 8 prospects from the State of Texas, 7 from California, 3 from Colorado, and 2 from Florida.
We've mentioned it quite a bit this season, but we'll mention it again: Colorado Co-Offensive Coordinator Darrin Chiaverini who recruits Texas as well as works with the receivers at Colorado has been key in landing three, yes three 4-star Recruits from the State of Texas.

Monday night 6-foot-4, 285 pound Offensive Linemen Xavier Newman flipped his commitment from Texas to Colorado after a weekend official visit to Boulder. Tuesday Night K.D. Nixon a Rivals.com 4 Star Receiver announced he was headed to Colorado as well.

On Tuesday Night the Colorado Buffaloes landed their 20th commitment from the Class of 2017. Rivals.com's 4-Star K.D. Nixon out of DeSoto, Texas committed to the Buffs just one day after teammate Xavier Newman flipped from Texas to Colorado.
