Coach's Corner: Andy Lowry, Columbine

Colorado received a giant boost to their future defensive efforts when in-state prospect, defensive tackle Curtis Cunningham from Littleton Columbine, committed to the Buffs a few weeks ago.

Cunningham was named the top defensive player in the state as a junior and according to his coach, Andy Lowry, is a better football player at this stage than all-world signee from last February, Ryan Miller. Buff Stampede caught up with Lowry to get a better idea of exactly what kind of player Buff fans can look forward to in the future with Cunningham.


He committed to CU over plenty of interest. He had offers on the table from Air Force, Arizona State, Colorado State, Kansas, San Diego State, Stanford, Utah, Washington State, and Wyoming.
