Kalambayi verbal sounding more solid

Peter Kalambayi wanted to give Oregon one last chance to make a pitch before Signing Day. So even though he was committed to Stanford the North Carolina linebacker kept an open ear.

He took an official visit to Eugene and stayed in regular contact with the Ducks' staff. And recently a coach from Oregon visited Matthews (N.C.) Butler to check on him.

"Stanford and Oregon both came by," the four-star, Rivals100 linebacker told Duck Sports Authority. "Coach [Lance] Anderson came by from Stanford, just talking to me and seeing how things were going.
