2014 RB lands first two offers

Summer camps are not only a place for rising seniors to shine. They also provide a platform for underclassmen to showcase their talents to coaches for the future.

That's exactly what 2014 running back Samuel Stewart did recently at camp stops at Mississippi State, LSU, Texas Tech and Alabama and earned scholarships from two of those schools.

Stewart's first offer came from Texas Tech and was followed up by an offer from MSU.

"I was really excited," Stewart said. "I felt like all of my hard work that I put in had paid off."

The 5-foot-8, 175-pounder was one of the standouts at the Bulldogs camp in Starkville working alongside Vanderbilt commitment Johnathan Ford with running backs coach Greg Knox.
