Manley ready to make a committment

Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton three star defensive end Josh Manley will be on the Syracuse campus this weekend. CuseConfidential.com caught up with him before the trip to get a couple quick pre-visit thoughts on the trip.

"It feels great and I finally get to go see what it is like and everything. The only campus that I have been able to see that has offered me is Georgia Tech. I am excited to see what Syracuse has."

For the 6-foot3, 245 pound prospect he knows about the football program and his big questions will be based on the academic side of Syracuse.

"For me I know about the history of Syracuse and I am looking to see what else they have not just the football side of Syracuse," Manley said. "My big questions would be really about the average football players schedule and how they can set up a double major and how I can work that into my schedule."

Throughout the recruiting process Manley has been high on the Orange and after the visit to Syracuse this weekend a commitment could come soon after his visit. Will that commitment before Syracuse though?

"Shortly after the trip yes I could make a commitment. I think after the visit I will be able to make a commitment to a school."

Georgia Tech and now Syracuse will be the only campuses Manley has seen so far. There are two other schools that may get a visit before all is said and done.

"I am still trying to set up a visit to Louisville or UCLA in the near near future."

Everything is down to those four schools right now. Tulane was high on his list a couple weeks ago, but that is not the case now.

"It is down to Syracuse, Louisville, UCLA, and Georgia Tech."
