A look at Toledo All-Purpose Back Commit Marc Remy
With Eric Page forgoing his senior season at Toledo to enter the NFL draft, the Rocket coaching staff must find the next Eric Page. Perhaps they've already found him.
Marc Remy is a 6-1, 190 pound all-purpose back from North Olmstead, Ohio. The high school senior is committed to Toledo for the 2012 recruiting class. Remy is similar to Page in that he is very versatile and quick. Remy can play slot receiver, wide receiver, running back, and even quarterback out of the wildcat. Remy also returns kicks on special teams.
He is quick and can make people miss with a good spin move or cutback, but he can also bear down and run it right through the defense when he needs to.
Marc has good hands, as you can see in his senior film at the bottom of this article. His 4.4 speed would make him a weapon at the slot position that Eric Page played for the last three seasons. He can also stretch the defense like Toledo sophomore wide receiver Bernard Reedy. At running back he has the explosiveness of a young Adonis Thomas.
