"Personally I've been committed ever since they offered me," began Bair. "It has been since right before Thanksgiving."

His future position coach set the wheels in motion. "My head coach called me and let me know that I needed to call Coach Azzinaro," said Bair. "I called him up and was able to talk with him. He said 'welcome to the Duck family'."

The three-star rated recruit is familiar with Oregon's defensive line coach.

"I love Coach Azzinaro," said Bair. "He is an amazing guy. Obviously my brother Brandon played for him for his last two years at Oregon and absolutely loved him.
