Chesson is approaching a commitment

St. Louis (Mo.) Ladue Horton Watkins wide receiver Jehu Chesson has almost seen everything he needs in order to make a college decision. The three-star prospect - the eleventh-best player in Missouri, according to Rivals.com - is down to a final three, and he knows when he'll make a commitment.

He has one official visit left to take. He will see Iowa City the weekend of Dec. 16-18, then sit down and decide which school he would like to attend. He has a few criteria in mind to evaluate his choices.

Most recently, Chesson took an official visit to another of his favorites. He saw Michigan break their seven-year losing streak against Ohio State live from Michigan Stadium. The experience was a positive one for Chesson.

More important for Chesson was getting the chance to meet with Michigan's players and coaches, to see how he got along with them. The early returns were good, and he got along with current players and 2012 commits alike.

Should Chesson pick Michigan at the end of the month, the Wolverines would be picking up a true red zone threat. He stands 6-3, 185 pounds, and has 4.5-second speed in the 40-yard dash. Michigan is looking for a second wide receiver in the class to join West Des Moines (Iowa) Dowling Catholic wide receiver Amara Darboh, who picked the Wolverines on Sunday.
