Wahoos offer out-of-state QB

Much has been made of the trio of quarterbacks from Virginia in the class of 2013 with early offers from Virginia, among others.

With the commitments of Matt Johns and Greyson Lambert, many have assumed that the Cavaliers would seek to land one of the three in-state targets, Ryan Burns, Bucky Hodges or Christian Hackenberg, and call it a wrap in the next recruiting cycle.

In fact, with guys like Wilton Speight at Collegiate and Corwin Cutler at Ocean Lakes, it seemed almost a given that UVa would restrict it's recruiting efforts at quarterback to within the borders of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Not so fast. Mike London and UVa's coaches recently extended a verbal offer to a promising pro-style passer from a powerhouse program in Maryland.
