Ojemudia Enjoys Night Game Atmosphere
Farmington Hills (Mich.) Harrison defensive end Mario Ojemudia committed to Michigan in May, and on Saturday night, he attended his first Michigan game since pledging to become a Wolverine. It was quite the game to watch, as Michigan rallied to knock off Notre Dame 35-31 on a last-minute touchdown reception by Roy Roundtree.
As a future member of the Wolverines' defense, Ojemudia saw a few great plays by the Michigan D. However, there was also some inconsistency up front that he thinks Michigan should be able to iron out.
Next year, the 6-3, 215-pound Ojemudia hopes to add to that pass rush as a defensive end. With the Michigan coaching staff's focus on defense, he's confident that their team will improve on that side of the ball over the course of the year.
Ojemudia was also aware of many of the other recruits in attendance. One in particular seemed to enjoy himself.
Though it would be a surprise if Banner committed on the visit, Ojemudia points out it's a good sign for top recruits to enjoy the night game atmosphere.
