Tech lands #8

Georgia Tech landed their eighth commitment for the 2012 recruiting class late Friday night. It is the first defensive back commitment for the class and the player earned the offer the hard way at Tech's summer camp.

Plant (Fla.) three-star athlete Antonio Crawford committed to the Yellow Jackets on Friday evening. Crawford was offered by Head Coach Paul Johnson and accepted on the spot.

"To all my facebook family and friends i will be attending the Georgia Tech University on a full ride scholarship to play football," Crawford posted on Facebook. "Now that I have chosen my college I will be focusing on my team and academics."
