Kerrick has SU offer
Coatesville (Pa.) wide receiver Kyle Kerrick is starting to catch the eyes of a few division one programs and right now Syracuse is one of those schools.
"I got the offer in late march early April and I thought it was cool I am a big movie guy and I remember watching the movie The Express and plus they have a indoor stadium which stands out "
With the offer comes a nice early set of thoughts about the program for the 6-foot-3, 197 pound prospect.
"Syracuse is a strong program from what I understand. I also know that the staff at Syracuse is stable and I doubt there would be a coaching change. They are everything you would expect from a division one program."
After the offer was made the Orange staff has not been in too much contact with the Keystone State player.
"I have not been in contact with Syracuse since they offered."
Despite not hearing from them in a couple months a visit will be taken to Syracuse in the near future.
"I plan on taking visits to all my offers before august."
In high school Kerrick could play many positions and right now he does not know where Syracuse wants him, but he does feel he plays two positions the best.
"I don't know if they like me for safety or receiver but whether I'm on offense or defense I'm physical and play with passion so they'll get a player that lets his will play for him."
With summer here and visits scheduled what else is Kerrick doing to improve himself for next season?
"I'm on an everyday lifting program and I run a mile to two miles every day before practice in the summer."
As far as a decision one could come at anytime.
"My mom wants August, I feel as if when I visit the school I will know right then and there so anytime."
