VIDEO: Brian Kimbrow at Ala. 7-on-7

Memphis running back Brian Kimbrow may be one of the fastest players in the country for the 2012 class, and the all-purpose back had his speed on display last weekend at the BadgerSport 7-on-7 tournament.

The 5-foot-9, 165-pound fleet-footed runner helped lead the West Tennessee Express team to the semifinals.

Kimbrow already has close to 30 scholarship offers but no favorites at this point. In fact, he said he plans to try and visit every school to offer him if he can find the time.

The Memphis East standout did mention Alabama as one of the schools recruiting him and said he talked with Crimson Tide assistant coach Mike Groh last week.

"He was just talking to me and Will (Gross) about how things are going and how he was trying to get my new highlight tape," Kimbrow said.

He also said Alabama has talked to him about the possibility of making an impact in the return game.

"They want me to help out on special teams, so they can get the ball in my hands."

As a junior, Kimbrow rushed for 1,651 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also took two kick returns back for scores.

Kimbrow, who accepted an invitation to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, visited Tuscaloosa last fall for the Auburn game. He plans to make a return trip in the next two months.
