Trey Keenan connected with Michigan

Being drafted is a goal shared by most prospects in the class of 2012, but Argyle's (Tex.) Trey Keenan has already experienced that. The 6-5, 270-pound offensive tackle had a chance to be a pro in one sport, but has passed on that opportunity to be an amateur in another sport for a while longer.

For now, Keenan has left his hockey career behind. He skates in an adult hockey league with his father just to stay involved with the game, but his sights are set on a future in college football. Passing on an opportunity to play professional sports at an early age suggests Keenan has patience and maturity at his disposal. Those are traits he will need to wade through an ever-growing list of scholarship offers.
