RB Duncan sees good fit at Duke

Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek was home to four-star quarterback Marquise Williams last year, so he was the focal point of just about everything the offense did. With Williams leaving for college at North Carolina, Mallard Creek will be looking for others to step up. Running back Jela Duncan will be called on in a big way.

Last year the 5-foot-10, 190-pound back rushed for 1,340 yards and 19 touchdowns in spite of missing three games with an injury. Those numbers could skyrocket, or they could take a hit with opposing defenses having to worry a little less about the quarterback position.
