Top RB recruit visits Auburn

One of the nation's top running back prospects was among a large group of recruits in Auburn Saturday for the Tigers' second Junior Day of the spring.

Millbrook's Keith Marshall, a Rivals250 to Watch Prospect, made the trip from his home in Raleigh, N.C.

"Everything went good," he said. "I got to spend a lot of time with the coaches and I got to know a lot more about the program."

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Marshall was making his first visit to Auburn. He took advantage of the opportunity to learn as much as he could about the Tigers' program, especially the coaches.

"We ate lunch with Coach (Gene) Chizik and then met with him in his office," said Marshall. "We talked to Coach (Gus) Malzahn, watched some academic stuff, some highlight film, talked to Coach (Curtis) Luper and took a tour of the weightroom."

Marshall also got to see the coaches on the field as he watched the Tigers practice inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. ...
