Nwosu has Cavs, Terps on top

In 2011, Virginia and head coach Mike London did a superb job of recruiting not only the state of Virginia but also in Washington, D.C. and Maryland. How UVa can fare in Maryland will have a huge impact on what the Cavaliers' overall 2012 recruiting class will look like when next February rolls around.

That job will be tougher, considering new Terrapins coach Randy Edsall is going to do everything he can to seal the deal with his state's top talent.

One of Maryland's best tight end prospects is favoring UVa and UMd, and a recruiting battle could be brewing. For that to happen, of course, UVa and Maryland will have to verbally offer scholarships.

For now, neither school has offered Daniel Nwosu, a 6-foot-4, 217-pound tight end from Lanham (Md.) Duval.
