Orange looking at NY tight end
Terrell Hunt out of Middle Village (NY) Christ The King picked the Orange in the class of 2011 and now Syracuse has started taking a look at his teammate tight end Kalief Joyner.
"I have received a few letters from them and I have been up to a few games."
On those trips to Syracuse Joyner has been very impressed with what he saw.
"Their campus is beautiful, they are an up and coming team [they did well last season], and they have my quarterback heading there next season."
With his quarterback going to Syracuse the two teammates have talked about Syracuse and Hunt wants to see Joyner make as many visits there as he can.
"He loves it and he said I should visit more. I am going to be going to their camp."
Other than the visit to Syracuse's summer camp he has one other trip he plans on taking and that is in a couple of weeks.
"On March 5th I am heading to the Maryland Junior Day and that is all I have set for now."
Besides Syracuse and Maryland there are a few other programs taking note of the Empire State product.
"Connecticut, Rutgers, Penn State, Nebraska, Purdue, and Akron are all showing me interest right now."
Last season Joyner helped his team to the playoffs while recording 14 catches for 220 yards and two touchdowns.
