Matthews chooses TCU

TCU held it's second junior day on Saturday, hosting some of the Lone Star state's top players. Another player in attendance was McPherson, KS quarterback Tyler Matthews, who some feel is the top quarterback prospect in Kansas.

Matthews just moments ago confirmed to Purplemenace.com that he gave his verbal commitment to the Frogs before leaving campus.

"I liked it a lot," he said. "I committed to them today, I'm real exicted."

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound gunslinger threw for 2,671 yards with 30 scores and only 3 interceptions as a junior.

Purplemenace.com will have more on Matthew's commitment later this evening.
