Detroit CB impressed with Iowa

Detroit cornerback Terry Richardson was not able to join some of his teammates on a visit to Iowa's junior day this past weekend, but remains very interested in the Hawkeyes. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound Richardson, who picked up an offer from the Iowa coaching staff last summer, hopes to reschedule a visit later this year.

Two of Richardson's teammates at Cass Tech, Laron Taylor and Royce Jenkins-Stone, added offers from Iowa while they in town for the junior day on Sunday. Now with a trio of prospects at the school, the Hawkeye coaches will be staying in touch regularly.

As a junior, Richardson had eight interceptions, including three in the playoffs, in leading Cass Tech to a 12-1 record.
