Coleman draws major interest

Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith junior running back J.C. Coleman has received three verbal offers and is picking up mail from a host of schools all across the country, so his recruitment will be exciting to follow for the next year.

While UVa is not one of the schools that has verbally offered him, the Cavaliers are very interested.

The 5-foot-7, 160-pound back fits the mold of what a lot of schools are looking for in an all-purpose player.

Coleman carried the ball 153 times for 1,410 yards this year for Oscar Smith. He also had 600 receiving yards and 26 offensive touchdowns, so he showcased his wide array of talents all season long.
