James joins PSU's Class of 2012
McKeesport (Pa.) South Allegheny tight end Jesse James was verbally offered a scholarship from the Penn State coaching staff this Saturday and it didn't take him long to pull the trigger.
That's because this morning, the 6-foot-7, 255 pound James verbally committed to Penn State assistant coach Tom Bradley.
BWI confirmed this with South Allegheny head coach Pat Monroe and will have much more information once James is available for comment later this afternoon.
He was a second team all-state selection in 2010, catching 34 passes for 463 yards as a tight end. James posted the third highest score at this weekend's Pittsburgh SPARQ camp, with a score of 98.55
Check out Blue White Illustrated later this afternoon for much more on the Nittany Lions newest verbal commitment.
