Academics is a primary focus for Harris when choosing his college. He plans on majoring in engineering and wants a school with a strong engineering program. Also, he wants a school with a successful football program.
Even though Harris' father went to Tech, he has never been to Ruston. He said his dad is going to let him make his own decision and not steer him towards Tech just because he went there.
"[Harris' father] wants me to go up there and see everything. He's pretty happy that his college has contacted me and offered me; he's pretty excited."
As a football player Harris uses his speed, versatility, and power.
Harris says he plans to wait until 2012 to make his decision. He wants to make all of his visits.
