Commentary: Some steps USC should take
SEATTLE- This wasn't Oregon State, when USC began the game woefully unenthused. This wasn't Stanford, when an injured quarterback couldn't play at a high level. This wasn't UCLA, with the Trojans looking ahead to a trip to the BCS title game.
No, Saturday at Washington was it's own thing, with it's own set of problems and deficiencies. Still, USC's 16-13 loss at Husky Stadium puts the Trojans in an unfortunately familiar position.
"We've been here before," USC head coach Pete Carroll said. "You never know how you're going to come out of it."
