Several options emerge at Cy-Ridge
HOUSTON -- Kliff Kingsbury looked up from texting on his mobile phone in a hot parking lot and muttered "We're on the downhill now."
Three camps down and three more to go entering Thursday, the early afternoon hours hinted it was going to be a hot camp. Mother nature didn't disappoint with a heat index above 105 degrees at various time at Cypress-Ridge High School in west Houston.
Typical Houston weather. Lubbock usually has the Bayou City beat when it comes to weather, especially the South Plains' lack of humidity, but with uncomfortable weather came yet another Texas region's best.
