NCBuffs: What is SHT's concussion status? Is there any possibility he will see limited action?

William Whelan: Last I heard, he was still day-to-day but I wouldn't be surprised if he is cleared for Friday's game. Shane went down right in front of where I was sitting and while he hit the ground with some force, it wasn't close to the impact of Josh Scott's concussion from earlier in the season. Illinois isn't very thick in the middle, so it remains to be seen what kind of role Shane would have in the game if cleared.
