Bulldogs add three-star cornerback
Mississippi State signed 16 prospects Wednesday morning good enough for 25th nationally in the team rankings.
But the Bulldogs were not finished.
Three-star cornerback Jahmere Irvin-Sills also pledged his services to MSU and is also expected to sign his letter of intent.
The Elkton, Md., standout was previously committed to Auburn under Gene Chizik. Irvin-Sills also had offers from Boston College, Connecticut, Hawaii, Houston, Maryland, N.C. State, Ole Miss, Rutgers, Southern Miss, Temple, Tennessee, UCLA and West Virgina.
Irvin-Sills visited Starkville on Jan. 11 and was his only official visit.
"We went around the campus and checked out a few things," Irvin-Sills said. "I saw the new facilities and hung out with the players a little bit. (The Seal Building) was cool, especially with a weight room that size. At our high school we work out a lot so I liked that a lot."
