Colorado falls 78-75 to hot-shooting Bruins

BOULDER, Colo. - Check off another notch on that panic meter in Boulder.

The Buffaloes shot a shrill 43.9% from the field and couldn't overcome the hot-handed UCLA Bruins, falling 78-75 on a snowy Saturday afternoon in Boulder. Ben Howland's Bruins were paced by a career-high 23 points from Travis Wear and 18 points from freshman Jordan Adams.

Colorado (11-5, 1-3) has won just five of their last ten games since starting out 6-0 following their impressive run at the Charleston Classic in November and sits in the bottom half of the Pac-12 standings.

Spencer Dinwiddie (23 points) did all he could to lead a comeback from a second half deficit that climbed to as high as 13 points, ultimately creating a shot for sophomore Askia Booker that could have tied the game at the final horn.
