Buffaloes get first Pac-12 win over USC

BOULDER, Colo. - Colorado got their first Pac-12 win on Thursday night, beating Southern California 66-60 in front of 10,344 at the Coors Event Center in their home conference opener.

The Buffs (11-4, 1-2) got a balanced offensive performance with four players reaching double-figures, lead by Josh Scott's 14 points.

Tad Boyle wasn't impressed with the win, but wouldn't complain about it.

"Part of league play is you have to figure out a way to win when you don't play your best basketball," he said. "Thank god for Sab Chen and Josh Scott."

Without Chen, a seemingly tired Colorado group would have seemed even slower. Chen made several acrobatic steals and driving lay-ups to provide some of the only hustle plays of the night.
