The name Trent Corney is probably not one many Virginia fans have heard a lot about and there's a reason for that reality.

The 6-foot-2, 235-pound athlete hails from an area in Canada that isn't exactly known for its football or producing a lot of college players. If Corney picks up a BCS offer soon, and it appears he might, he could become a local hero of sorts.
