Recruiting Update: Kemper, McFadden & Nix
Fullback Aaron Kemper, Michael McFadden and Adam Nix are all in some level of the holding pattern when it comes to their recruiting by the Black Knights of Army.
Kemper, who is out of Cincinnati (Ohio) Winton Woods High School is has yet to schedule his official visit, but that should be forthcoming soon as noted by the 5-foot-6, but weigh 205 pounds.
"Coach Ross (Joe) is suppose to be coming to my school on Wednesday and that's when I'm going to set up my official visit to Army," shares Kemper, who is expecting a school visit today from the Black Knights' fullback and special team's coach.
"I'm excited about my offer from Army. I'm looking forward to Wednesday to talk to him (Ross) to get all the facts right, so that he can inform me on everything about West Point."
Presently, Kemper is holding down one Division I offer, which is from the Black Knights of Army.
McFadden[/db], who is out of Huntsville (Ala.) Westminster Christian Academy, is another prospect who is looking to lock down a date to visit the Black Knights.
"I have talked to Coach Holmes about it recently and he was saying probably some weekend this month in January," declares the prospect who played linebacker, safety and running back at Westminster Christian Academy and who's father Brian McFadden is a 1986 West Point graduate.
"My interest in Army remains high," said the 6-foot-2, 180 pound athlete.

For Nix, he's just waiting for "The Call", which will let the the Charlotte (NC) South Mecklenburg prospect know if he has been accepted into West Point.
"I'm still waiting to find out my status with Army," says Nix, who made it clear that once that happens, he will become a Black Knight. "Coach Coaxum told me he's going to take my file to the admission's office next week and If I'm admitted, I will commit because West Point which is where I'm set on going."
