Houston (Tex.) Stratford cornerback Kelvin Rainey picked up an offer from Virginia earlier this year and he was both excited and surprised by the opportunity.

It was an intriguing option for Rainey, but he had never been to the ACC school before, so he had pretty limited knowledge about UVa.
