When Virginia accepted a commitment from another quarterback recently, one wouldn't fault Matt Johns for reacting with surprise.

Three-star Georgia quarterback Greyson Lambert chose the Cavaliers last month, not too long after the 6-foot-5, 200-pound Johns did the same.

Most assumed at that point in June that UVa would only take one quarterback in this recruiting cycle and it was all but a given that Johns was their guy.
